Mtskheta - situated at the confluence of two rivers – Mtkvari and Aragvi and creates one of the most panoramic views in the country.

The spiritual and religious centre of Georgia, capital of Iberia before Tbilisi and the place where the Georgian nation was converted to Christianity at the beginning of 4th c. AD by female missioner St. Nino - Enlightener of Georgia.

Nowadays Mtskheta is in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site with its Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari monastery and is the most important religious center in the country.
